PMC railway highlights
  • Mundra
    o    Adipur – Mundra is the first non-govt. railway line on IR network.
    o    Construction of 102 nos. bridges including minor and major bridges in a record span of 2 years.
    o    Longest bridge of 225m across Luni River.
    o    9 crossing stations with panel Interlocking on Mundra rail network.
    o    Only long haul crossing station (airport-station road) on IR network.
    o    First mechanized railway wagon coal loading (through silos) at Westport, Mundra.
    -    First siding with electric traction commissioned at Dahej.
    -    First electronic interlocking commissioned at Kachewani for Tiroda Power Plant, including major yard remodeling.
    -    First rail linked ICD at Patli other than CONCOR with maintenance facilities of railway wagons.
    -    First system of mechanized bulk food grain handling in self-designed railway wagons as pilot project of FCI.
    -    First 40m high viaduct of 350m length across Jhink Nala planned in SRCPL.
    -    132/1X25 KV traction sub-station (TSS) planned for SRCPL & HIPL.
    -    Longest pvt. siding (75 km) under execution at SRCPL.
